The fact that feminicide is still not recognised as a crime against humanity means that states and dictators who rely on feminicide are not afraid of being held accountable.
As long as feminicide is not treated as a crime against humanity, it will not be possible to wage a credible and effective struggle against inhuman policies and genocide.
With this campaign we want to expose and draw attention to Sri Lanka’s feminicidal policies. We want to bring justice and demand the prosecution of Sri Lanka’s war criminals. We want to be the voice of all women in the world who are subjected to violence and draw attention to all state crimes committed against women.
